Lumus Imaging is seeking expressions of interest for RANZCR accredited Radiologists, including DWS restricted doctors, to join our imaging team based in the new hospital at La Trobe University in Bundoora, Victoria. Situated only 15 km’s north of the CBD, the suburb has excellent schools, the university, golf courses and local restaurants and cafes. It then has plenty of public transport options for easy travel to Melbourne CBD and all the best that the cultural hot spot has to offer.

 

Open since February 2024 the Imaging Department of La Trobe Private Hospital includes a 1.5T MRI, CT, Ultrasound, X-Ray and Fluoroscopy. It provides a general radiology service to the hospital and surrounding population with a focus on orthopaedic and sports medicine, aligning with the hospital and the La Trobe Precinct, which is now home to the Matildas.

 

At Lumus we are committed to training and developing our Radiologists. Our Imaging Clinical Council provides clinical and professional guidance in radiology and assists with clinical reviews around safety, quality and governance. The Clinical Council also provides input into strategic clinical planning, development, and technology.

Roles and Responsibilities include:

 

As part of Lumus, you will have access to state-of-the-art medical imaging equipment and be supported by a team of highly trained technical staff with access to colleagues through a nationwide RIS/PACS allowing mentoring and collaboration in subspecialist interests.

 

The ideal candidates will possess experience and expertise some of the following modalities:

  • CT
  • MRI
  • Ultrasound
  • Interventional procedures
  • General Radiology
  • Mammography
