Lumus Imaging is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cyber Security Analyst to join our Office of the CISO, within the Cybersecurity Operations function.

This role is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of SOC experience who is passionate about detecting and responding to security threats, working with modern tools, and contributing to a secure and resilient environment — particularly in the context of IoT and healthcare systems.

As part of this role, you will also work closely with our Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) to monitor alerts, investigate incidents, and ensure alignment with Lumus Imaging’s security standards and response protocols.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using tools such as Proofpoint, LogScale, and CrowdStrike.
  • Perform risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and address threats within IoT and enterprise systems.
  • Maintain and support the organisation's UpGuard platform to ensure compliance with security and industry standards.
  • Conduct forensic investigations to analyse security incidents and provide detailed, actionable reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and implement cybersecurity best practices and incident response procedures.
  • Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies relevant to the healthcare and IoT domains

 Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience in a SOC environment or a technical security analyst role.
  • Practical experience with tools such as Proofpoint, CrowdStrike, LogScale, and UpGuard.
  • Understanding of threat detection, incident response, and risk assessment methodologies.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
  • Industry certifications (e.g., CEH, CompTIA Security+, SANS GIAC) are highly regarded.

 Preferred Skills

  • Experience with advanced threat detection and endpoint response.
  • Working knowledge of regulatory standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and CPS234.
  • Familiarity with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and its application in operational environments.
  • Ability to contribute to or deliver security awareness programs across business units.
  • Basic scripting or automation skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell) to reduce manual tasks and improve incident response efficiency.

All employees are responsible for actively maintaining and promoting cybersecurity within their roles. This includes adhering to Lumus Imaging’s cybersecurity policies, promptly reporting security incidents or suspicious activity, safeguarding sensitive information (including patient data), and supporting a culture of security awareness and compliance across the organisation.
