A part time vacancy currently exists in our Dorevitch Collection team for a AS4308 certified Drug & Alcohol Collector based in Melbourne CBD.

 

Utilising your knowledge of Pathology Laboratory processes coupled with your excellent sales, negotiation and administrative skills, you will thrive in this busy and fast-paced role.

 

Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:

  • Performing supervised drugs of abuse collections as per documented instructions
  • Accurately completing collection documentation for each collection
  • Maintaining chain of custody for each sample collected
  • Organising the transport of specimens to the Central Laboratory
  • Liaising and with external clients
  • Keeping meticulous records for every patient and sample

 

If you have the following skill set, we want to hear from you:

  • The ability to work independently
  • The ability to follow documented procedures with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Previous experience performing drugs of abuse collections (desirable)
  • A Statement of Attainment for HLTPAT005 – Collection of Specimens for Drugs of Abuse
  • Excellent communication skills and punctuality
