The Veterinary Liaison Officer – NSW/QLD (based in Murarrie) is responsible for ensuring the services of Vetnostics are promoted ethically and professionally to key stakeholder groups through representation of the business to referring Veterinary Practices, researchers, universities and others and identified influential organisations and veterinary industry groups.

The role will act as a conduit between veterinary clients and business operations for consistent and quality service delivery.

 

Role Responsibilities:

 

  • Providing support to complex veterinary client enquiries (tests, services, accounts).

  • Participation in promotional events such as conferences and educational dinners

  • Visiting referring clinics to deliver Lunch and Learns, sharing new information

  • Providing support and reports for launch of new tests, promotions and client activities

  • Receiving, logging and resolving client complaints

  • Updating national centrally owned and buying  / management group memberships

  • Use of Power BI – Analysis of clinic and test submission trends

  • Providing support to internal customer care team for complex veterinary client enquiries (tests, services, accounts).

  • Maintain and foster relationships with influential veterinary industry bodies

  • Liaise with appropriate Veterinary Pathologists, sales teams, administration, and couriers

  • Production and communication of Vetnostics newsletters and announcements via Mailchimp.

  • Creation of flyers and other marketing materials for Vetnostics Laboratory clients

  • Manage customer and laboratory expectations

 

Skills & Experience Required:

 

  • Previous experience in the Veterinary industry (not essential but considered advantageous)

  • Business development or marketing experience is desirable

  • The ability to meet specified goals and targets

  • Strong sales management and customer service background, with a proven track record of achieving team targets

  • Current drivers’ licence

  • Significant experience in a customer facing role

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Professional phone manner

  • Computer literate with intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

  • Previous experience with Salesforce or similar system will be highly regarded

  • Demonstrated ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner

  • Self-motivated and able to demonstrate initiative

  • Ability to operate under and meet tight deadlines

  • Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to effectively prioritise.
